We help high-quality therapists find more clients and grow their private practice.

At The Hart Centre, we are a community of professionals who are passionate about transforming relationships and maintaining professional excellence in our field. With a legacy spanning across two decades, established by psychologist Julie Hart, we have grown to be a pillar of support for 150+ Psychologists, Counsellors, and Sex Therapists across 120+ locations in Australia.

Our mission is to be the most highly regarded and comprehensive relationship help service in Australia, by partnering with mental health professionals, to connect them with clients whose needs align with their expertise and experience.

We are looking for Psychologists, Counsellors and Sex Therapists, who are already in private or group practices, to join our team via our Associate Program, as an adjunct to their current practice.

What we Offer:

Targeted Clientele:

Our dedicated administration team strive to book clients whose needs align with your expertise, ensuring a better match for higher success rates and enhanced therapist satisfaction. This has established a consistent stream of bookings, by improving client satisfaction and retention rates.

High Quality Clients:

New clients regularly provided and booked directly into your Power Diary, Halaxy, or Google calendar, with an average of 6 – 8 sessions per couple

Huge Demand and Growth:

We are still expanding in Australia, resulting from a very high therapeutic success rate and an effective marketing plan.

Low Fees and Choice of Membership:

We do not operate on a franchise model, so there are no large upfront fees for new Associates who join our group. Our business model is built on a fair and transparent Win/Win/Win formula, and we offer a range of membership options to suit your needs.

Proven Marketing Expertise Provided for You:

SEO optimization, targeted ads, Google My Business visibility, Directory listings, and more

Supportive Community:

We understand working in private practice can be isolating. We have built an engaging community of mental-health professionals that goes beyond professional networks. We believe in the power of collaboration to share insights, support personal and professional growth, and build lasting connections.

Administrative Ease:

We handle the initial appointment bookings and client communication, so you have the freedom to spend more time doing what you’re great at – helping people.

Profitable Business:

No EAP work. You will be paid for your time if client’s ‘do not attend’ their first session. Our focus on client satisfaction allows us to maintain low cancellation and ‘no show’ rates.

Practice Flexibility and Choice:

Set your own work days and appointment times, with full control over your practice hours and holidays. Choose the various types of counselling and therapeutic approaches you’d like to offer.

Continuous Learning Opportunities:

We share our huge body of resources with all our members, including our own in-house relationship counselling training program, and  conferences held annually with world class speakers (see below for our speakers). We stay up-to-date with the  latest therapeutic approaches and industry trends, and seek best practice methodologies to enhance the therapeutic experience. We also hold regular group webinars and supervision events

No Minimum Terms or Lock-in Contracts:

We value a life-work balance. This flexibility ensures that the Hart Associate Program aligns seamlessly with your unique career aspirations and personal commitments.

Feedback Loop:

We genuinely care about our therapists and our clients. We value continuous improvement by actively seeking feedback from our Associates and clients, which helps improve and streamline our processes, services and conferences.

What We Look For in our Associates:

  • Genuine Care: Passionate about couples work, whether its your exclusive focus or an addition to your practice. You are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to heal their relationships.
  • Client-Centred Approach: Aspire to direct your time and energy into helping people, instead of marketing and administration work.
  • Currently Working in Private Practice: or as part of a group.
  • Experience: 3+ years for our Junior Program, 7+ years for our Senior Program.
  • Desire to Expand Client Base: with new bookings made directly into your calendar.
  • Community Spirit: Interested in being part of an engaging and supportive community of Psychologists, Counsellors and Therapists Australia-wide, for meaningful networking and collaboration.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Always seeking opportunities for growth and professional development.
