Alexandra is committed, genuine and empathetic. Through her dedicated therapeutic work, she supports couples in reaching a deeper understanding of how their unique, individual histories interact within their relationships. Alexandra pursued psychotherapy with a passion for helping people preserve the relationships they cherish most deeply and a belief in the healing power of intimate relationships.
Her foundational studies in integrative psychotherapy provide her with a complex and comprehensive model of the human mind, considering all phases, experiences and contexts of development from infancy to adulthood. This knowledge helps her understand how early relationships and traumas may contribute to distress in relationships, supporting her in working with complex relational dynamics.
Beyond her formal training, she has pursued further studies in working with polyamorous people, managing differences in sexual desire (desire discrepancy), infidelity, and supporting families through separation. Alexandra is committed to education and continuing professional development. She currently has a keen interest in healing and managing complex trauma and personality disorders, particularly in intimate relationships.
Clients can expect a dynamic process with moments of laughter, tears and joy.
Alexandra is committed to listening deeply and persisting with you through difficulties. With gentleness and firmness, she will help you reflect on your contributions to the relationship. Most importantly, therapy is always a collaboration; she will seek your perspective on what you hope to gain from therapy and what you intuitively feel you need to achieve those goals. She will work with you to adjust the process as needed until all of your relationship goals have been met.
