As a dedicated Mental Health Social Worker, Ali understands that life can bring unique challenges that may feel overwhelming at times. Her goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where individuals and couples can explore their experiences, gain insight, and move toward meaningful change.
Ali works with adults and couples across a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, interpersonal issues, stress, self-worth and self-compassion, grief and loss, identity issues, life transitions, and challenges with communication, boundaries or conflict. She also supports clients navigating family breakdowns, adjustment issues, and the impact of past trauma.
Ali’s practice is grounded in evidence-based, client-centred approaches that are tailored to meet each person’s unique needs. Ali draws on a range modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Gottman Method when working with couples. Her down-to-earth approach aims to promote resilience, connection, and wellbeing.
Ali believes that seeking support is a courageous step, and is committed to walking alongside her clients as they build greater self-understanding, develop healthier relationships, and discover new ways of living with purpose.
