About Ashleigh

Ashleigh, brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to relationship counselling. With a deep understanding of the complexities that can arise within relationships, Ashleigh is passionate about helping couples navigate their way through challenges, no matter how big or small. Whether the issue is a communication breakdown, trust issues, or a general disconnection between partners, Ashleigh works closely with couples to rebuild their bond and foster stronger, healthier connections. Her warm and empathetic approach creates a safe space where both partners can express their concerns and emotions without judgment.

Ashleigh has a special interest in working with couples who feel as though they have “forgotten” who each other are. Over time, many relationships face this issue, often due to the stresses of everyday life, work, or raising children. Ashleigh helps couples rediscover the emotional connection they once had by guiding them through a process of self-reflection and understanding. By working together in therapy, couples often come to realise the deeper reasons behind their disconnection and are able to rebuild trust, intimacy, and communication. Ashleigh’s most fulfilling moments come from witnessing these transformations, when couples leave therapy feeling more connected and in tune with each other than ever before.

In addition to her expertise in working with couples, Ashleigh has a strong background in helping individuals navigate relationship issues. Whether someone is struggling with past trauma, unresolved conflicts, or anxiety about their current relationship, Ashleigh provides individualised support tailored to each person’s needs. She believes that personal growth is a key component of improving relationships, and her holistic approach ensures that each client is empowered to make positive changes in both their relationship and their own life.

Overall, Ashleigh’s dedication to relationship counselling stems from her desire to see couples and individuals thrive. She understands that relationships are at the heart of the human experience and that the benefits of a healthy relationship ripple out into other areas of life.

What is the most satisfying and fulfilling part of the work you do?

The most satisfying and fulfilling part of the work done Ashleigh has done as a Psychologist, is seeing individuals, families, and couples thrive. Her practice is dedicated to supporting clients through personal and relational challenges, helping them grow and develop healthier emotional and psychological lives. Ashleigh takes pride in witnessing clients overcome adversity, strengthen their relationships, and regain a sense of well-being and fulfilment in their lives.

What’s an example of a couple you have helped the most?

An example of the most fulfilling work done by the primary practitioner, Ashleigh, involved a couple who had lost their sense of connection and had forgotten who they were to each other. Through therapy, in the safe and supportive environment created during their sessions, the couple was able to rediscover their bond. Ashleigh facilitated open communication, helped them explore their emotional needs, and guided them toward rebuilding trust and intimacy.
