Ben is calm and reflective in his style and has a particular interest in helping people with relationships — whether they are family members, couples, or others who care about each other. He also recognises that sometimes we need help with the relationship we have with ourselves.
He understands that people often experience issues that can be hard to talk about and appreciates that there are often underlying causes for these struggles. For this reason, Ben approaches every client with curiosity and compassion.
Ben is a Clinical Psychologist who completed his psychology training in 2008 and later completed a clinical masters in family therapy. In his private practice, Ben works with couples experiencing a wide range of difficulties, particularly where one is experiencing significant mental health problems, or couples struggling with the balance between their relationship and parenthood.
Ben’s clinical experience includes working as the lead clinician for a youth severe personality service, lead clinician for a youth mood disorders clinic and undertaking family assessments for the Children’s Court.
