Carrie is a dedicated and compassionate counsellor currently completing her final year of a Master of Counselling degree, complemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling. With over four years of clinical experience, she specializes in supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges.
Carrie’s expertise lies in individual counselling, couples counselling and family therapy, with a focus on children and adolescents. Prior to her current work, she spent 3 years supporting youth aged 12–24, helping them navigate complex emotional and social transitions.
Carrie’s practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which she skilfully applies to address anxiety, depression, grief, low mood, and motivational challenges. She is also MARAM-certified, equipping her to provide trauma-informed care for clients impacted by family violence. Central to her work is fostering self-awareness, self-compassion, and resilience through mindfulness techniques and person-centered therapy, ensuring clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Carrie offers culturally sensitive counselling to diverse communities. Her warm, collaborative approach creates a safe space for clients to explore their emotions, strengthen relationships, and cultivate meaningful change.
