Claudia is a registered psychologist who brings warmth, presence, and a deeply compassionate approach to her therapeutic work. With a diverse professional background in Law and Teaching, Claudia found her true calling in psychology—where she combines her strong analytical mind with a deeply empathetic and human-centred practice. Her work is rooted in the belief that people are not problems to be fixed, but stories to be understood, honoured, and gently reshaped.
Claudia specialises in helping individuals who feel disconnected from themselves or overwhelmed by life’s challenges, including those navigating grief, trauma, post-natal depression, life transitions, or deep questions of identity and self-worth. She is a client-centred psychologist working with teenagers, parents, and adults of all ages suffering with personal, professional, relationship and mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, attachment wounds, trauma and personality disorders, among others.
Claudia loves reading, arts, having a laugh and is always up to some adventure. A soft front, a strong back, and a wild heart.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Practice, allowing her to meet clients where they are and tailor her work to their specific needs and lived experiences. She also incorporates Self-Compassion practices to gently challenge shame-based beliefs and foster healing from within.
She creates a respectful, nurturing space where clients can explore who they are—beyond the labels, symptoms, or roles they may feel confined by.
Outside of her clinical work, Claudia hosts a podcast, where she explores topics like inner child work, shame and healing, and reconnecting with the self. Through both her therapy and public work, Claudia empowers others to reconnect with their values, re-author their stories, and move toward lives that feel more meaningful, connected, and whole.
Claudia is fluent in both English and Portuguese.
