    About Therapist

While titles and pieces of paper help with formal delivery of therapy, this hart therapist is a qualified Psychotherapist, who couples a diverse background in life and training, to provide a rich experience through which to connect, support and help clients manage their own concerns.

Dynamically integrating a range of modalities whilst empathically and compassionately working with clients, he helps others gain awareness, understanding and choice that unburdens their minds and builds deeper connections to themselves and the ones they care about, no matter the circumstances in which they appear.

As a therapist, he is acutely aware of the courage and vulnerability counselling sessions can take, and strives to make therapy ‘not feel like therapy’. Clients are often amazed that even difficult changes can occur quite seamlessly in sessions when it’s only felt like a conversation.

With a passion for understanding the human mindset and how we can thrive as human beings, this hart therapist has a genuine desire to see people flourish and succeed in the areas that matter to them most.

What are three strengths you have as a Psychologist/Counsellor?

    1. Making therapy ‘not feel like therapy’.

    2. Quickly identifying the root causes (often multiple) of the issues at hand.

    3. Empathically and non-judgmentally providing support whilst working through the changes required.

What is the most satisfying and fulfilling part of the work you do?

Seeing the changes occur in client towards the positive.

What’s an example of a couple you have helped the most?

I recently worked with a couple (m/f) who was dealing with infidelity (f had cheated on her partner). By understanding the reasons the infidelity occurred, without making excuses for it, the couple was able to see the truth behind the behavior and smoothly reconcile their relationship with greater awareness around communication and empathy, both for themselves and each other.
