Danielle is a warm, compassionate counsellor and supervisor who supports both individuals and couples through a variety of life challenges. She helps clients lead full, busy lives who feel burnt out or exhausted and are seeking renewed wellbeing and balance. Danielle offers specialised support in areas such as stress management, burnout, relationship difficulties (including communication styles and conflict resolution), recovering from childhood patterns and trauma, personal growth, grief and loss, anxiety, and anger management .
Her therapeutic approach is person-centred and evidence-informed, drawing from schema therapy, attachment theory, narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and compassion-focused therapies. Danielle’s focus is on helping clients feel nourished, inspired, and connected to themselves and others, empowering them to create healthier relationships and a deeper sense of purpose. While she works with a wide range of concerns, her most common client presentations include:
- Burnout & Stress: Many of Danielle’s clients lead busy, full lives and reach a point of exhaustion, disconnection, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed. She helps uncover the emotional and behavioural patterns at play and supports clients in building a more nourishing, sustainable path toward wellbeing.
- Relationship Challenges: Danielle works with individuals and couples on improving their relationships—whether it’s navigating conflict, developing healthier communication, rebuilding after disconnection, managing attachment styles, or working through assisted separations and non-traditional relationships. She brings a compassionate, non-judgemental lens to her work and draws on a variety of relationship therapy models.
- Healing from the Past: Danielle is passionate about helping clients break free from limiting childhood patterns and outdated core beliefs that may be holding them back. She believes that challenging these internalised narratives is one of the bravest and most rewarding steps a person can take toward living a more authentic and fulfilling life.
She holds a Bachelor of Counselling, is a Level 2 member of the Australian Counselling Association, and conducts both in-person sessions in Fremantle and online appointments.
