Diana is an experienced and dedicated clinical psychologist who has completed a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, postgraduate diplomas in both Psychology and Professional Psychology, in addition to a Masters of Clinical Psychology. She is a fully registered Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA and maintains active engagement in supervision and continuing professional development.
Diana is skilled in providing counselling for adults and adolescents with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, low self-esteem, adjustment and change, substance use and sleep difficulties. Diana is also experienced in crisis intervention and safety planning.
Diana uses evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) as primary modes of therapy. Diana has also recently trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Diana believes each client is unique so any psychological assistance should suit the individual’s needs, and she is adaptive in her application of therapeutic intervention with each client.
Diana’s background in both individual counselling and therapeutic group facilitation enables her to support clients across a wide spectrum of emotional intensity – from everyday stress through to acute crisis.
Diana’s special areas of interest include working with anxiety disorders, OCD, BFRB’s, phobias, low self-esteem, and depression. Diana is passionate about her work and is a gentle and caring psychologist.
She offers sessions in person at Mona Vale and also via telehealth, providing accessible support to all clients.
