More About Dorianne

    • Creating a successful therapeutic alliance allowing clients to feel psychologically safe. This alliance builds trust and allows for honesty and openess
    • Her candid and insightful manner
    • With a caring and compassionate nature and along with Dorianne’s belief that everyone holds internal resources for self-awareness and personal growth
  • When what I say resonates and clients experience ‘light bulb’ moments and/or clients are open to leaning into discomfort for eg. creating psychological flexibility.

  • Working with a couple with their goals being to strengthen the relationship and improve communication between them. They struggled with shutting down during conflict and frustrations leading to hurtful comments being made. By working together with me:

    • They improved consistency in recognising bids for connection.
    • They developed better conflict resolution skills to achieve full closure of disagreements.
    • They mplemented regular relationship check-ins.
    • They practiced expressing gratitude more frequently.
    • They improved communication especially during times of high stress or limited capacity.

At the end of our last session I complimented them for their openness and willingness to improve their relationship and achieve their goals.
