Jenna works with individuals and couples to foster an authentic, safe, and trusting therapeutic relationship to understand the problems they face, support them as they navigate these difficulties, nurture their capacity for resilience, and work towards creating deeper and more connected relationships.
Jenna has over 14 years of experience as a Social Worker in government and non-government organisations, providing counselling services to people from a wide range of backgrounds with issues related to complex trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, family relationships and functioning, parent-child attachment (particularly within the perinatal period), and neurodiversity. She has a special interest in supporting neurodiverse clients and their families to build understanding, self-awareness, and relational connection.
Jenna draws from a Strengths-based, Attachment, Family Systems, and Trauma-informed framework to help clients gain improved emotional insight and a deeper awareness of behaviours, communication issues, and interactional patterns experienced in relationships. Working collaboratively and creatively with clients, Jenna strives to tailor therapy to the unique needs of each client to cultivate positive change and healing.
In her non-work time, Jenna enjoys the liveliness of keeping up with two young boys, spending time with family, being creative, and soaking up the outdoors and nature as much as possible.
Jenna is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and a registered member of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
