I am an intuitive and empathetic counsellor, with over twenty years’ experience gained in hospitals, residential rehabilitation, and counselling services. I work with individuals (15+), experiencing mental health challenges, from mild to moderate depression, anxiety and interpersonal issues, through to more complex and co-occurring presentations. I am also a passionate Gottman trained couples counsellor, and I love supporting parents and families of all shapes and sizes to thrive.

Helping relationships to turn around, helping desperate clients get unstuck. Seeing anger dissipate and empathy and compassion grow. Supporting clients to talk to each other (not at each other!) and feel heard. Helping clients to feel validated and important and more confident about expressing their needs. Supporting implementation of practical strategies that work. Supporting improved boundary setting, emotional expression and articulation. Reigniting romance. seeing distant clients move back to a place they want to be in each others presence.
