I am an intuitive and empathetic Mental Health Clinician, Psychotherapist and Relationship Counsellor, with over twenty years’ experience delivering care in private practice, and on multidisciplinary teams. I have worked in hospitals, disability, rehabilitation, and counselling services, and I am trained to treat the whole person in context – I consider biological, psychological and social aspects of health and wellbeing.
I work with clients experiencing diverse challenges including trauma and neglect, life transitions, Alcohol and Other Drug (AoD) use and addictions. I also have extensive experience working with a wide range of diagnoses including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, Bipolar and Schizophrenia.
My practice is safe and welcoming for everyone, including anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+, Neurodivergent, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and First Nations people. I work with families and couples, and clients who choose non-typical relationships such as Polyamory and Ethical Non Monogamy.
Prior to private practice, I held teaching roles at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and I worked alongside Psychiatrists on the Crisis Assessment (CATT) and Substance Use and Mental Illness Treatment teams.
When I am not working, I enjoy time with my family, gardening and bush walking, and I love getting out of town when I can.
