Lee is an experienced therapist who works with couples and individuals in ways that are informed by compassion, contemporary psychology and science. Her approach is to attend to the whole person’s perceptions, thoughts, feelings and physical experience.
Lee’s approach to resolving a couple’s relationship challenges is to help them to create a more secure, loving connection – to be safe, seen and understood. A healthy relationship will build resilience, support wellbeing and soothe the nervous system and support the rest of the family.
Lee completed her relationship training and internship at Relationships Australia and continues to learn and practice using Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). A framework which is evidence-based couples counselling and is deeply aligned with her therapeutic training as a qualified Gestalt Psychotherapist.
In her work she provides a safe and confidential therapeutic process to support clients at their own pace. She helps you to discover what’s missing in your life, in your relationship and improve your awareness and regulation of your emotions.
Lee practices meditation daily as a form of support and resilience and loves what she does. Her therapeutic practice allows her to walk the talk by living with a growth mindset, embracing all the challenges of this human experience. In such unprecedented times it is important to find ways to heal our fear brain, to live with all the changes/uncertainty in the world and find balanced and nourishing ways to be and to love.
