Michelle is a compassionate and empathetic counsellor who takes the time to listen and understand the underlying problems her clients face. With a deep commitment to helping both individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges, Michelle specialises in relationship counselling, with a particular focus on supporting multicultural couples and those from the LGBTQ+ community.
Michelle is a Masters of Couples Counselling student in her final year of study at Swinburne University and Relationships Australia. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Michelle brings a unique ability to support clients from diverse backgrounds. She understands the complexities that can arise from cultural differences and life transitions and uses her expertise to guide clients toward greater understanding, acceptance, and connection in their relationships.
In her sessions with couples, Michelle treats the relationship as the central client, helping partners align their goals and deepen their emotional connection. For individual clients, she provides a safe and non-judgmental space to explore personal challenges, fostering self-awareness, resilience, and emotional well-being.
With over a decade of study and practice in Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and meditation, Michelle integrates mindfulness and compassion into her work. She aims to help both individuals and couples achieve lasting change, build emotional resilience, and find greater peace in their lives.
