Melinda has recently joined the Hart Centre and is looking forward to working collaboratively with couples, individuals and relationships. Her aim is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic and person-centered therapy environment where meaning can be made from lived experience, goals and values can be explored, and experiential learning and connection or reconnection with hope can be facilitated.
With a background and qualifications in both psychotherapy/counselling and occupational therapy, Melinda is able to draw on many years’ experience as a clinician and to selectively engage a range of evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches, including Emotion-Focussed Couples Therapy.
Outside of work you’ll find Melinda spending time with family and friends, being outside enjoying nature as well as music, live theatre, art – and anything food related.
