Rebecca is a warm, empathetic, and down-to-earth Relationship Counsellor, Sex Therapist, and Sex Educator who is passionate about helping people create happier, more connected relationships with themselves and others. She brings both compassion and a light-hearted sense of humour to her work, helping clients feel at ease while navigating tender and often vulnerable topics.
Believing that intimacy and healthy relationships are at the heart of a fulfilling life, Rebecca supports individuals and couples to shift patterns of frustration, disappointment, and disconnection into supportive, loving, and deeply satisfying relationships. She works inclusively with people of all genders and sexual orientations, offering a safe, non-judgmental space to explore intimacy, sex, and relating free from shame.
With extensive experience across intimacy and sexuality, counselling, and somatic sex education, Rebecca brings a holistic perspective to her work. She regularly facilitates workshops and events for women and couples, creating spaces that are both deeply transformative and refreshingly real. As a former birth doula, she also brings a compassionate understanding of how birth and motherhood can impact a woman’s body, identity, and sex life. Her approach blends counselling, education, and somatic practices to help clients overcome sexual difficulties, communicate more effectively, and rediscover pleasure and intimacy in their lives.
Rebecca’s work is grounded in both science and embodiment. A self-confessed “neuroplasticity geek,” she enjoys weaving the latest brain-body research into practical, somatic tools that support lasting change. Her qualifications include a Diploma of Counselling, training in Gottman Relationship Therapy, and certifications in Somatic Sex Education, Somatic Sexological Bodywork, Embodied Counselling, and Tantra. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Somatic Sexology with the Institute of Somatic Sexology. Rebecca also serves as President of the Somatic Sex Educators’ Association of Australasia (SSEAA) and is a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
Outside of her professional life, Rebecca loves dancing in the kitchen, watching the sky change colours, spending time in nature, and connecting with friends and family. Based in Newcastle, she works with clients across the Hunter Region, the Central Coast, and beyond via video conferencing. For those seeking support to heal, reconnect, and deepen intimacy, Rebecca offers a compassionate, knowledgeable, and gently playful presence on the journey.
