Renee is a warm, empathetic and compassionate counsellor with diverse theoretical interests including The Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Sand Play Therapy, among others. She has special interests in couple counselling, trauma, loss, grief and bereavement, family difficulties, LGBTIQ+ and neuro diversity including people living with disability and their carers.
Originally from Western Australia, Renee has been living in Mudgee, NSW for 13 years. She holds a Master of Counselling from Edith Cowan University in WA and a Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) from Curtin University of Technology, also in WA.
Renee works with adults, adolescents and children using face-to-face and telehealth modalities.
Renee approaches counselling with curiosity and the belief that all people deserve her undivided kindness and attention.
At home, Renee enjoys bush walking with her beloved dogs, gardening and is always seeking new travel adventures.
