More About Reta

  • – I’m passionate about helping individuals recognise their inner strengths to achieve well-being through individual counselling.
    – My holistic approach is grounded in the belief that we are the experts of our own lives, and sometimes we just need guidance to unlock that expertise.

-I strive to create a safe, collaborative, and nurturing environment. My goal is to foster well-being and empower clients to embrace life fully while developing the tools they need to thrive.

    – I hold a deep respect for life from conception to death. I’m passionate about the role of faith and spirituality in well-being and mental health.

  • The most satisfying part of my job is seeing real change happen in people’s lives — not just insight, but actual transformation. When clients begin to understand themselves more deeply, shift long-standing patterns, and start experiencing more peace, clarity, and healthier relationships, that’s incredibly meaningful to me.

I especially find it rewarding when couples who felt disconnected or stuck are able to reconnect emotionally and communicate in a healthier way. Watching that shift from conflict or distance into understanding and connection is powerful.

At the core, my work is about helping people access their inner strengths and move toward a more fulfilling and grounded life and being part of that journey is what I find most satisfying

  • I worked with a couple navigating the aftermath of infidelity, where trust had been deeply broken and communication had completely shut down. Using a blend of Gottman Method strategies and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we slowed things down and helped each partner express what was really happening underneath the anger the hurt, fear, and longing for connection.

We also explored apology languages so the partner who had the affair could take accountability in a way that actually felt meaningful and healing, rather than defensive or surface level. Over time, this allowed the injured partner to feel seen and validated, while rebuilding emotional safety between them.

Through this process, they were able to move out of blame cycles, reconnect emotionally, and begin rebuilding trust in a more intentional and grounded way.
