More about Ruth

How many years counselling experience do you have?

Over 40 years.

What are three strengths you have as a Psychologist/Counsellor?
  1. Ability to provide a safe space for couples and individuals
  2. High level of clinical expertise and experience
  3. Ability to take a broad view of a problem
What is the most satisfying and fulfilling part of the work you do?

Empowering individuals and couples to find their own authentic voice

What’s an example of a couple you have helped the most?

I helped a couple recognise how their constant bickering reflected past traumatic family experiences, and to find ways to free themselves from this repetition to engage positively in their relationship.
I have supported a couple through the challenges of their separation to arrive at a point in their relationship where they can be respectful of each other and collaborate in the care of their children.
