Thayane is a warm, empathic psychologist based at Mona Vale. She supports clients in achieving their therapeutic goals and developing self-awareness through a collaborative and holistic approach. She has a particular interest in the mind-body connection and has experience with disorders related to brain-gut connection.
Her practice encompasses working with children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a variety of concerns including mood and anxiety disorders, adjustment issues, stress management, parenting difficulties and self-esteem.
In her therapeutic interventions, Thayane integrates evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Thayane loves reading, spending time outdoors with her family and travelling.
She holds and Honours Degree in Psychology from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency ( AHPRA). She is accredited to offer the Cool Kids Anxiety Program to children and adolescents struggling with anxiety.
She is passionate about guiding clients through meaningful psychological growth—helping them understand emotional patterns, reconnect with their values, and navigate life’s complexities with greater ease.
