    Zoi has been a registered psychologist in Melbourne for 25yrs and has extensive experience in dealing with addictions such as problem gambling, grief and loss, mental health issues, impulse control, as well as trauma, anxiety and depression. Zoi has previously worked at Relationships Australia primarily with couples through all stages of their relationship. She has also completed a diploma in Hypnosis and teaches relaxation, breathing and mindfulness techniques to manage anxiety and other mental health concerns.

    Zoi works from a strengths-based perspective. She believes that that her job is to work collaboratively with clients so they can access their own special resources and help to guide them to be able to develop a way to improve their functioning and have greater joy in their lives. Zoi has a special interest in helping couples understand themselves better so that they can in turn understand the special fit they have with each other. She tailors her approach to suit the needs of her clients as she believes that not one approach fits all.

    Zoi approaches couples work from the perspective of understanding that within relationships with loved ones is the basis for learning and growth as well as pain. She believes that finding better ways to communicate and have greater understanding of ourselves and our loved ones in turn enhances our lives. She is a caring, warm and deeply empathic therapist and uses humour and practical strategies in her work with couples and individuals as well as cognitive approaches to increase self-awareness and understanding and promote healing and growth.
