How many years counselling experience do you have?

    Over 10 years

What are three strengths you have as a Psychologist/Counsellor?
    1. My ability to quickly put clients at ease
    2. My natural sense of curiosity to truly listen to clients and observe them
    3. My grit to support clients progress from challenges to empowerment
What is the most satisfying and fulfilling part of the work you do?

Being honoured when clients share their struggles and vulnerability, to supporting and witnessing them transform to happier and healthier versions of themselves and within their relationships.

What’s an example of a couple you have helped the most?

There are many, but one stands out in particular.

Having worked with a couple who had been in a long-term relationship and were contemplating a separation due to them growing apart and other unspoken deep seated hurts they had never expressed over the years.  I facilitated a safe space where the couple could have those painful conversations without them disconnecting or avoiding each other, they we able to truly listen to one another and gain a deeper understanding.  Over several sessions, homework and practicing new strategies, they were able to improve their communication, manage conflict more safely, appreciate each other for their differences and re-connect on a deeper emotional and intimacy level.  It was an honour to witness their transformation.
