    About Daniel W

Daniel originally worked various jobs as a general labourer in a number of different industries in his younger years. Coming from a broken family, his commitment to his own personal growth and life circumstances led him to studying elements of psychology, eventually leading to the completion of a Diploma in Professional Counselling in 1998.

Daniel’s passion combined with an increased sense of confidence propelled him to study Community Services in Health in 2000. This provided him opportunities to work within various organisations such as homeless shelters and care work facilities for both the aged and intellectually disabled. Daniel has also have had extended travel and work experience both within and outside of Australia.

Daniel’s passion for helping others continued to grow, and in 2000 when he decided to apply for University and pursue Social Work as a career. In 2004 he completed his degree in Social Work and started supporting many families in difficulty. Connection to Daniel was an easy experience for people seeking his support due to his own personal understanding of the situations they were suffering from. Further extensive qualifications and experience in Family dispute and conflict resolution helped Daniel to propel towards a strong demand for his services due to the affective positive outcomes obtained.  His values rest in a belief that people need to be heard, appreciated and understood and that all people want to be loved and belong. This is the foundation of his approach.

We are all unique individuals and Daniel’s approach and therapy is suited to accommodate this. Daniel’s long history of relationship/mental health counselling has led to further accreditation and recognition to the highest possible standard, enabling him to establish his own private practice. In summary, Daniel’s life’s journey has enabled him to offer a combination of extensive experience, genuine compassion, personal understanding and knowledge in helping others through life’s difficulties. His style of communication is described as down to earth, non-judgemental and professional.
