Her areas of interest include supporting couples with their relationship and parenting challenges, and individuals with stress, burnout and eating issues.
In addition to completing the more formal Gottman relationship training, her training in the Tree of Life Methodology offers creative options for couples seeking to develop a shared vision and renewed awareness in their unique relationship. This approach can transform therapy into a series of interesting pictures and conversations, all with a clear purpose, of course.
When you see this Hart Counsellor, she will discuss your hopes and expectations for your sessions together, and you will collaboratively design a plan that you can trust will provide the best support tailored to your current needs. She certainly does not adhere to a one-size-fits-all approach.
Many of the couples she has seen, whether in crisis or struggling in the early stages, often progress with newfound skills and confidence following the initial interventions. They may return when they encounter any new issues they wish to explore more deeply, akin to a ‘top-up’ session to realign themselves, after which they feel ready to move forward.
