Anna is an experienced family therapist, relationship counsellor and specialist trauma counsellor. She has completed a Master of Social Work and a Master of Clinical Family Therapy degree. She has also received training in Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Gottman Couple’s therapy and has a professional diploma of Therapeutic Life Story Work. She is a compassionate, accepting and warm individual who draws on a range of evidence-based relationship therapy methods, providing people a safe space to talk about the hard stuff.
Anna supports couples to go deeper and think about what matters to them as individuals and in the relationship. She brings non-judgmental curiosity about each person’s experiences and perspectives and pairs this with honesty, facilitating conversations that get to the heart of what is happening. When our intimate partner relationships feel healthy, safe and secure, it can contribute positively to our own physical, and mental health and emotional well-being. Strengthening friendship, fondness, affection, trust and intimacy is important for the health of our relationship and for ourselves. Our relationships with our partners in adulthood, just like any other significant relationship, can face challenges and she supports people to navigate these challenges, repair ruptures and strengthen their connection.
She believes in collaborative and respectful practice and supports couples to identify and work towards their goals. Whether those goals relate to better communication, more fun, improved sexual intimacy, navigating challenges, developing trust, or planning for the future, get in touch to see how she can support you and your relationship.
