Our Hart psychologist has experience providing support to adolescents, adults and couples in clinical private practice, and public mental health settings.
She has a special interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
Our Hart psychologist works collaboratively to co-create an inviting therapeutic space, that is safe for exploring and understanding inner experiences and relationship dynamics, that at times may be troubling and painful. She recognises that sensitive curiousity and a non-judgemental approach are fundamental to establishing trust within the therapeutic relationship. This creates opportunity to progress towards internal change, fulfilling relationships, and contentment in life. She also considers there to be a place for playfulness within therapeutic interactions, which can inspire new developments and growth.
She closely attends to shared problems with great care, to appreciate their unique qualities, and tailor the therapeutic approach for the specific needs identified. She listens carefully, and works to understand the deeper and underlying processes that create undesirable states and patterns. For couples, this includes disharmony and loss of intimacy.
Her focus is establishing authentic self-expression, that empowers change by shaping life experiences according to personal values, needs and aspirations.
