About Psychologist
This Hart therapist has had considerable experience as a Nurse in the emergency department of a hospital and has chosen counselling because she believes in people and their capacity to grow.
She provides safety, non judgement and a genuine interest in all that work with her. She has a background in clinical hypnotherapy which enables her to offer alternative ways to overcome the core beliefs formed in childhood.
She is genuine, respectful and loves working with others to achieve their goals.
What are three strengths you have as a Psychologist/Counsellor?
Empathy
Creating safe space
Non judgemental
What is the most satisfying and fulfilling part of the work you do?
The most fulfilling part of my work is assisting clients to flourish by providing the tools and strategies to overcome their past and achieve the relationships they desire.
What’s an example of a couple you have helped the most?
A young couple who had both experienced family trauma as children and were repeating the conflict patterns of their parents. They loved each other but weren’t able to handle difference of opinion without feeling defensive and reactive. Within six months they had put the tools and strategies into action and developed a bigger, better and stronger loving relationship.
