About Peter

Peter has been in social work for over 30 years. He has worked in New Zealand UK and Australia. He has gathered a wealth of experience working in the demanding fields of foster care, youth detention centres, child protection, disabilities, older adults and relationship counselling. Additionally, he has been a sessional University residential course tutor and external supervisor for social work students.

Peter is a group facilitator and has delivered workshops, conference papers and training sessions in relationships and change management. He is also a trained experienced mediator.

He presently works in private practice as an accredited Mental Health Social Worker counsellor with rooms in Cooranbong and Morisset. As well as his counselling, he is a consultant and policy advisor in child protection to NGOs and private industry.
