Jane is a professional counsellor; qualified since 2013 with many years’ experience. Being a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, she supports clients with a vast array of concerns, and has worked in a range of diverse settings with adolescents, adults and couples.
By providing a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore their difficulties, she is committed to helping clients find ways to manage life’s challenges to facilitate personal growth and self- awareness. She encourages clients to challenge negative thoughts and behaviours, to improve emotional health and psychological wellbeing.
Jane uses evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness and other models of counselling to assist clients explore positive coping strategies and achieve greater peace, health and happiness.
She enjoys relationship counselling as she partners with couples to help to identify relationship breakdowns and improve communication and intimacy.
