Shelley Ellis is an accomplished therapist, specialising in couples and relationship issues. She is a member of the Australian Counsellors Association (ACA). Shelley is passionate about couples issues, individual issues, desire and intimacy struggles, anger issues, LGBTQIA+ issues and assisting with therapy prior to marriage. Shelley also holds qualifications in Meditation, Sexology and Hypnotherapy, with further training in youth mental health, suicide prevention and mental health support on top of her counselling diploma.
Shelley utilises a blend of therapies to assist each individual/couple, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person Centred Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness, among others. Shelley will work with you to create the therapy style best suited to your needs and utilises various tools to engage with you and explore avenues to help you reach your desired outcomes.
