More About Amber

    • I make people feel heard and seen in the midst of whatever chaos they find themselves in.
    • Collaboratively we identify the patterns that do not serve them anymore and move towards what better can.
    • I bring in lived experience of parenthood, loss, grief, raising third culture kids, going through life transitions and relational so I can relate to a lot my clients share.
  • Over 5 years

  • Witnessing when behavioural patterns shift between a couple and/or family. Being an empathic witness to the courageous transformations of my clients as they learn that they can do that.

  • One couple came to me believing they had reached the end of their relationship. Every conversation became an argument, trust had eroded, and both felt deeply alone despite living under the same roof. They were good as parents but as they became empty nesters, the differences became too stark to ignore.

Rather than teaching them to communicate better from day one, we first slowed everything down. Together, we uncovered the hurt, fear and unmet needs that had been driving the conflict for years. As they began to feel genuinely heard instead of judged, their conversations softened. They learned to repair after conflict, rebuild trust and reconnect as partners rather than opponents.

They didn’t become a “perfect couple”—they became a stronger one. Watching them leave therapy holding hands after once considering separation was a powerful reminder that when both people are willing, meaningful change is possible.
