More About Sharne

    • Deep attunement and empathic presence
    • Strong integrative clinical skills
    • Creation of safety and emotional regulation within sessions
  • Over 8 years.

    • The most fulfilling part of working with couples is the privilege of being invited into their inner world. I love witnessing them slow down, connect, and hold space for each other. It’s very rewarding to support couples to prioritise their relationship, and to hear how those shifts positively ripple through their family.
    • One couple I’ve supported deeply is a FIFO couple. At first, one partner was strongly resistant to counselling, but both engaged with using the tools I offered — knowing when to connect, navigating communication and emotions during conflict, maintaining mutual respect, and finding alignment in their parenting. They moved from uncertainty about staying together to working through the challenges of neurodivergence, past trauma, work and study pressures, FIFO life, and raising children. Now they have stability, connection, and often reflect on how much more peace there is in their home.
