Warning Signs

Score Range 13-24 There are patterns here worth taking seriously - before they become harder to shift.

Your answers don’t point to a full-blown addiction – but they do point to a pattern that is worth examining honestly. There are warning signs present. Your use has either escalated, affected your intimacy, created some loss of control, or started to take up more space in your life than you’re comfortable with.

Warning signs matter because they are easier to address now than later. The patterns you’re describing – using porn to cope, noticing a shift in desire, finding it harder to stop than you expected – tend to deepen over time if they’re not examined. They don’t always become serious problems. But they can, and understanding them now puts you in a much stronger position.

This isn’t about labelling yourself or catastrophising. It’s about being honest with yourself at a point where you still have a lot of choice about where this goes.

The fact that you took this quiz suggests some part of you already had a question about this. That question is worth exploring – either on your own with some honest reflection, or with a therapist who can help you understand what’s driving the pattern and whether it needs addressing.

Noticing early is a strength. Acting on it is even stronger.
