More About Adena

 •

Joining with the couple as we explore their situation.

Working with the ‘space between’ the couple/dyad.

Utilising what I have learnt during professional development sessions to better assist clients.

 • Over 15 years.

 • The most satisfying part of the work that I do is seeing couples being able to bridge the gap between themselves to be able to move forward together, rather than apart.

 • An example of a couple that I helped is one that attended the first session with difficulties in communicating. They both had extensive relationship histories. They also had childhood events and relationships that affected their interactions in the current relationship. They were able to work together, using mostly the Gottman approach, and felt comfortable enough to make a commitment to get married, they are now engaged!
