More about Kathy

What is the most satisfying and fulfilling part of the work you do?

What is most satisfying for me is when my clients achieve the outcomes from counselling that they want. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families – giving them the tools and strategies that they desire to improve their lives as individuals and as family members.

What’s an example of a couple you have helped the most?

Frequently, couples come for counselling because there is a breakdown in communication and emotional connection. With the appropriate tools and strategies, couples can have an understanding of their differences and learn the tools and strategies that help them communicate more effectively by listening for understanding and expressing their emotions more respectfully leading to a successful outcome. One of my clients considers me to be a “secret weapon” that she has accessed to change her life and improve the relationships in her family.
