About Sage

Sage is a warm and experienced relationship counsellor and certified sex therapist who works with both individuals and couples to enhance connection, intimacy, and emotional wellbeing. She supports clients in navigating a range of concerns — from communication difficulties and mismatched libidos to emotional disconnection and the impact of trauma.

Sage takes a holistic, trauma-informed approach that integrates sex therapy, relationship counselling, and mental health support. She recognises the profound connection between mind, body, and emotion, and focuses on supporting the whole person, rather than just treating surface symptoms.

Creating a safe, inclusive, and compassionate space is central to Sage’s practice. She understands that starting therapy — especially around sensitive topics like intimacy or relationships — can feel vulnerable, and she works gently with each client to help them feel seen, respected, and empowered.

Sage’s work combines therapeutic insight with practical education to help clients better understand themselves and their relationship patterns. Her goal is to guide people toward stronger communication, deeper intimacy, and greater confidence in both their personal and sexual lives.

More about Sage

What is the most satisfying and fulfilling part of the work you do?

The most fulfilling part of my work is witnessing people reconnect with themselves and each other in meaningful, authentic ways. It’s a privilege to support individuals and couples as they feel more empowered – deepening their connection to self, confidence, and their ability to love and receive love.

What’s an example of a couple you have helped the most?

One of the most meaningful cases I’ve worked with involved supporting a couple navigating the impacts of childhood sexual abuse on intimacy and emotional connection. Together, we identified trauma responses that emerged in moments of closeness and worked to build shared understanding, safety, and attunement. Involving both partners in the healing process allowed for greater empathy, co-regulation, and the development of secure, responsive ways of relating. This experience reinforced how relationships, with the right support, can become powerful spaces for healing and deeper intimacy.
