Gayatri is a couples and individual therapist who works primarily from an attachment-based and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) framework. She supports partners in strengthening emotional and physical intimacy, improving communication, rebuilding trust after relational ruptures, and developing more secure patterns of connection.
Gayatri works with couples experiencing challenges such as emotional disconnection, sexual intimacy difficulties, conflict cycles, infidelity, and the impact of attachment trauma and early relational wounds. She also works individually with clients navigating separation, relational issues, anxiety, depression, self-worth difficulties, and the impact of childhood trauma.
Her approach is trauma-informed, emotionally focused, and holistic, integrating mind and body awareness to support meaningful and sustained change. She places strong emphasis on understanding how early family systems, cultural context, and lived experience shape relational patterns in adulthood. Gayatri believes that healing begins with awareness and grows through conscious action.
Originally from New Delhi, India, Gayatri brings a culturally responsive lens to her work as a culturally and linguistically diverse practitioner in Australia. She is passionate about inclusive, accessible mental health care and engages in psychoeducation through professional social media platforms.
Outside of her clinical work, Gayatri enjoys travelling, nature walks, and spending time with books and meaningful conversations.
