Jen is a Clinical Psychotherapist, Couples Therapist, Clinical Supervisor and Executive Coach in Melbourne with more than 25 years of experience helping individuals and couples create meaningful, lasting change. She holds a Master of Counselling and is a Clinical Member of PACFA, a member of ACA and GANZ, and an accredited Clinical Supervisor.
Jen believes that meaningful change happens through the power of human connection. At the heart of her work is the belief that people are not broken and that the problem is never the person. Instead, our experiences, relationships and coping strategies often develop as creative ways of surviving life’s challenges. With understanding, compassion and the right support, those patterns can be transformed into healthier ways of living, relating and thriving.
Known for her relational insight and compassionate leadership, Jen creates a therapeutic space where people feel deeply understood, emotionally safe and respectfully challenged. She has a natural ability to recognise the patterns beneath distress, helping individuals and couples make sense of what has shaped them while discovering new possibilities for themselves and their relationships. Clients often describe feeling both genuinely seen and confidently guided as they navigate difficult conversations, heal emotional wounds and build more connected and fulfilling lives.
Jen’s work is grounded in curiosity, hope and a commitment to lifelong learning. She integrates the best of contemporary evidence-based psychotherapy, drawing from Schema Therapy, Gestalt Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Attachment Theory. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, Jen thoughtfully tailors therapy to the unique needs, strengths and goals of every individual and couple.
Whether supporting someone through anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions or longstanding emotional patterns, Jen combines deep clinical expertise with practical strategies that create dynamic positive change. She believes therapy should not only provide insight but also empower people to respond differently in everyday life, strengthening their relationships with themselves and those they care about.
Alongside her clinical work, Jen provides supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists and executive coaching to leaders, supporting reflective practice, professional growth and authentic leadership. Across every aspect of her work, she is committed to creating respectful, collaborative relationships where people feel encouraged to explore, grow and reach their potential.
For Jen, there are few greater privileges than being invited into someone’s story. After more than 25 years in practice, she continues to be inspired by the courage of the people she works with and remains deeply committed to walking alongside them as they create lives and relationships that feel more authentic, connected, peaceful and fulfilling.
