Laura works with individuals, couples, and partners, offering a non-judgemental and inclusive therapeutic approach. She does not advocate for any specific relationship structure or sexual preferences. Instead, she works collaboratively with clients to create a safe and respectful space where they can explore the concerns that have brought them to therapy. Laura understands that starting therapy, particularly with a partner or partners, can feel vulnerable, and she prioritises emotional safety, trust, and openness throughout the therapeutic process.
Her practice is grounded in evidence-based therapy and tailored to the unique needs of each client and relationship. Laura takes an integrative approach informed by attachment theory and systems theory, drawing on established frameworks such as the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). This enables her to support individuals and couples experiencing a wide range of concerns, including communication difficulties, intimacy issues, emotional distress, and life transitions.
Recognising that relationship therapy requires specialised training, Laura has undertaken additional professional development in this area and brings this expertise to her work with couples and partners. She also supports individuals who wish to better understand their personal patterns, relationship experiences, or emotional wellbeing.
Laura has experience working across diverse cultural backgrounds and warmly welcomes clients from all walks of life, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. She is committed to creating a safe, affirming, and inclusive therapeutic environment where every client feels respected and supported.
Laura welcomes referrals for clients seeking support with relationship challenges, individual emotional concerns, or personal and relational transitions. She is fluent in both English and Italian and, as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, can provide Medicare rebates for eligible clients with a valid Mental Health Care Plan.
