Sharne is a trauma‑informed Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor who brings a warm, grounded, and deeply attuned presence to her work with individuals and couples. She is known for creating a safe, steady therapeutic space where clients feel understood, supported, and able to explore the complexities of their inner world and relationships. Since 2018, Sharne has worked with clients across Australia, and internationally, supporting them through trauma recovery, narcissistic abuse, anxiety, relationship distress, and significant life transitions.
Sharne has a particular passion for working with couples. She is deeply committed to helping slow down, reconnect, and rebuild emotional safety. Her approach is informed by Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy, attachment‑based principles, and somatic awareness, allowing her to guide couples through communication challenges, conflict patterns, emotional regulation, and the rebuilding of trust.
In her individual work, Sharne supports clients recovering from abusive relationships, including survivors of narcissistic abuse. She brings a steady, validating presence to clients rebuilding their sense of self, identity, and emotional stability after relational trauma. Her integrative approach draws on EFT Tapping (Level 2), Havening Techniques, trauma‑aware practice, Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy, Positive Psychology, and post‑traumatic growth principles.
Sharne holds a Bachelor of Counselling and a Graduate Diploma of Counselling and Integrative Psychotherapy (Spiritual). She is a Level 4 Member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), a Clinical Member of PACFA, and a member of the ACA College of Supervisors. She is trained in the RISE UP Model of Supervision and provides both individual and group supervision for counselling students, new graduates, and emerging practitioners. Her supervision style is reflective, supportive, and grounded in ethical practice, helping supervisees navigate complex client presentations with confidence and clarity.
Alongside her private practice, Sharne is the Senior Consultant for South Australia with Empatia EAP, a Brokered Counsellor for Carers SA, and a contracted provider with Uprise EAP. She has facilitated group programs, delivered professional development training, and supported carers, families, and workplaces across the state.
At the heart of Sharne’s work is a belief in the power of safe, attuned connection. Whether working with individuals, couples, or supervisees, she is committed to helping people experience clarity, healing, and meaningful change.
