Through working with a very diverse client base, this Hart therapist has discovered a passion for working with couples. She believes that having two people ready to better their lives and relationship, is a very powerful base to begin the therapeutic process with. With this dynamic, she removes the stigma of blame, and breaks down the steps in fundamental terms, to help both parties figure out how they got to the boiling point, and how they can come back from it even stronger.
This Hart therapist is a proud member of the Disabled and LGBTQIA+ communities.
This Hart therapist has worked in the Disability support sector for over 10 years, sparking her desire to help others. She decided to pursue counselling, to allow her strong skillset and natural nurturing abilities to powerfully change lives for the better.
She has a keen interest in helping those with physical and intellectual disabilities, which she has experience working with in both her career and at University.
She has extensive experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients, where she noticed that (while being met with kindness), many had not been met with true understanding. She aims to provide this in her therapeutic approach.
Her therapeutic approach is Person-Centred and Humanistic. She draws from methodologies such as EFT, emotional regulation, trigger processing, emotional scripts, sexual health and wellbeing, connectivity and intimacy coaching, love language deciphering, developmental theory, narrative therapy, art therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
We’ve spent the past 20+ years helping over 25,000 couples rediscover their happiness after having lost their way, through effective relationship and marriage counselling.
Your relationship deserves a couple’s therapist who is understanding and experienced in helping couples in turmoil quickly get to the core of their issues, to begin the healing process sooner.
