Isabela is a warm, empathic psychologist passionate about guiding adults and teens (16+) through complex emotional and life challenges. Her practice is trauma-informed and deeply client-centred, grounded in the conviction that healing happens in collaborative, safe spaces where each person’s story is valued.
Blending psychodynamic and humanistic approaches with a strong foundation in evidence-based therapies—EMDR, Schema Therapy, CBT, DBT, and ACT—Isabela customises her work to match each client’s unique needs and pace. This flexible, integrative approach supports clients navigating issues like trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, grief, and relationship unrest.
She has specialized expertise in complex trauma and PTSD, including the lingering effects of childhood relational wounds and domestic violence. With additional focus on OCD, phobias, mood regulation, and anger management, Isabela offers a thoughtful, skill-based approach to emotional resilience. Her work also extends to individuals confronting life transitions, workplace stress, grief, and self-harm tendencies. Bilingual in English and Portuguese, Isabela brings cultural awareness and sensitivity to clients from diverse backgrounds.
Over the years, she has worked in both public and private sectors including foster care, NDIS providers, workplace rehabilitation, not-for-profits, and private practice, supporting individuals from all walks of life.
