Rav (Rahvack) is a clinically registered counsellor who is deeply committed to honouring and respecting the individuality of each experience. Approaching her practice with genuine warmth and gentle curiosity, Rahvack aims to create a welcoming and accepting environment where clients can safely explore the unique personal journeys that led them to seek therapy.
Rav’s compassionate and client-centred counselling style is supported by the ten years of clinical counselling and therapeutic service experience she brings to working with clients. Her professional background within Criminal Justice, Family Violence trauma & recovery, and general counselling services has allowed her the privilege of supporting adults, children, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and deepened her understanding of connection, choice and resilience. Rav has expertise and an interest in addressing a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, couples and relationship counselling, family violence counselling, parenting issues, life transitions and adjustment, as well as grief & bereavement.
Guided by her experience and training, Rav is dedicated to providing a sensitive, inclusive environment that truly appreciates difference. Her counselling approach can best be described as integrative, meaning she draws on a range of therapeutic models and theories, whilst always aiming to meet the client where they are and support what matters most to them. At the heart of Rav’s approach is her authentic commitment to forming a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship, and the belief that this is the most powerful catalyst for positive change. She seeks to build a deep understanding of her clients’ inner worlds, accompanying them as they encounter, share, and clarify their hopes and challenges together in therapy.
If you are seeking a counsellor who values connection and works with intention to create a safe, meaningful space for growth, Rav invites you to experience the difference a truly supportive relationship can make to wellbeing.
Rav is fluent in English and Persian (Farsi).
